VIDEO REMOTE INTERPRETING

Video remote interpreting

Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) is done by displaying the interpreter on a screen remotely so that the consumer can access interpreters any time or any place.

VRI gives you the benefit of a certified, highly skilled interpreter wherever you are. If you have access to a desktop, laptop, tablet or other internet capable device, you can take our interpreter with you. In a time where telecommuting is the norm, VRI allows you to work without the risks related to onsite services. Simply make a request through DAS’ user friendly scheduling system and you can count on an interpreter, skilled in your preferred mode of sign language and hand-picked for you, to be there for you when you need them.

Our sign language interpreters are professionals equipped with national certification and most of our interpreters have 15 or more years of experience. The majority of our interpreters have undergraduate and graduate degrees, many in the field of interpreting. DAS Inc provides modalities that include, but are not limited to: ASL, PSE/CS, MCE, SEE, Cued Speech, Sign Supported Speech, Oral, Tactile, and Close Vision.
