In order to provide a readable translation of spoken English into text, a CART writer types 225 words per minute, just a few seconds behind the speaker. Their script is displayed on a monitor or projector to be viewed by the Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing clientele. Transcripts are also available upon request after the assignment as completed. The CART writer can be on location but could also be remotely located using a telephone connection. We provide services for meetings, classes, training sessions, special events or a variety of other settings.
